About the Event

Cooking has been used as a way to communicate culture from one generation to the next since the very first hearth was lit, an estimated 400,000 years ago. In today's world, cooking can be a way to slow down, be mindful, and share a few smiles while creating memories with your children or your clients. In this interactive webinar, participants will prepare a recipe together while discussing various attributes of the ingredients and final dish. Let's make something delicious together, mindfully!

Learning Objectives

1. List three neutral or positive attributes of any one of the featured ingredients.

2. Discuss how cooking can be beneficial to the adult-child relationship and dynamic.

3. Demonstrate how to discuss food positively for the benefit of the child and of the self as well.
