Food, Sustainability and the Role of Mindfulness

May 13, 2015 | Caroline Baerten, RD (Belgium)

The moment of awakening through the energy of mindfulness and compassion is what is needed to live in a sustainable way. It is only through clear understanding of the impact of our actions that we can see how unwholesome food patterns create suffering for the body and mind.

Participants will:

learn about the skill of ecological perception

cultivate compassion and learning ways to protect the planet

understand the relationship between mindless consumption and the earth

This program was offered to TCME members only.
