Mindful eating is steadily increasing in popularity. Health professionals and consumers alike are interested in better understanding the implications of this style of eating, including what the research says about its effects on potentially pathological eating habits such as external eating, emotional eating and binge eating.
The purpose of this webinar is to define mindful eating (its purpose and tenants) explore the science behind mindful eating and learn practical ways to translate this science to your colleagues and clients.

She is also the Registered Dietitian behind Gratefully Nourished, a blog for those struggling with disordered eating, perfectionism and body image concerns and recently started her own private practice, Alyssa Pike Nutrition, LLC.
